MONROIA, LIBERIA –President George Weah has sent two separate congratulatory messages to the Government of Guinea and the Kingdom of Lesotho on the occasions marking the independence anniversary of the two African nations.
In the message to his Guinean counterpart, Alpha Conde, President Weah prayed that the Almighty Allah will continue to endow him with abundant wisdom and strength in observance of the 62nd Independence Anniversary.
President Weah expressed the hope that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation between Liberia and Guinea will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.
In a related development, the Liberian leader also congratulated the Government and people of the Kingdom of Lesotho on the occasion marking the 54th Independence Anniversary of that country.
According to a foreign ministry release, President Weah, told his counterpart, Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro, that the bond of friendship between Liberia and Lesotho will continue to grow for the mutual benefits of the two countries and people.
