THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA-Liberia’s Ambassador to the United States of America says information on Facebook that President Donald Trump has ordered that certain Liberian professionals be granted E-Visa to travel to that Country for work is totally false and misleading.
A dispatch from the United States quotes Ambassador George Patten as saying at no time did he receive such communication from President Trump.
The dispatch also quotes Ambassador Patent as urging the public to refer to the official website of the Embassy of Liberia, for all official communications.
Ambassador Patten assured the public that the matter has been reported to the authorities of Facebook, for immediate redress.
In another development, Ambassador Patten wants Liberians in the diaspora, who were granted permanent residence and citizenship in America, to double their efforts in getting valid and up-to-date documents from the Embassy.
He called on Liberians to take advantage of the opportunity and act swiftly.
