MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Port Authority (NPA) Managing Director has termed as false and misleading, accusation linking his office to the death of Internal Audit Agency Boss Emmanuel Nyeswua.
Recently Mr. Nyeswua died at his home in Monrovia under reported suspicious circumstances.
Following the incident, Opposition Politician Henry Costa publicly accused the NPA Boss, Dr. Bill Twehway of being the madtermind of the act.
But a release issued by the NPA Sunday, October 18, 2020, quotes its Managing Director as saying the allegation made by Mr. Costa is intended to tarnish his hard earned reputation.
According to Dr. Tewhway, he has never caused the death of a Liberian and will never do so during and after public service.
He described Costa as a major opposition operative whose only intent is to undemocratically remove the current Government.
Meanwhile, Mr. Twehway has threatened legal action against his accuser, as the best option.
