MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A Technical Team from ECOWAS and UNDP to provide support to the National Elections Commission (NEC).
According to NEC Chairperson Davidetta Browne-Lansanah, members of the ECOWAS and UNDP Technical Team are Database Experts, who will provide support to NEC Database staffers.
Mrs. Browne-Lansanah said:” The team was brought into the Country under the UNDP Election Support Program and the ECOWAS Mission in Liberia.”
Speaking Tuesday, October 27, 2020, NEC Chairperson said the team is to help the Commission in cleaning the Voter Roll and to strengthen other electoral areas.
Meanwhile, the Head of the ECOWAS Election Experts, Chidi Nwafor, said:” They are to work with NEC to solve problems that are associated with the Voter Roll.”
