MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has cut the ribbon to the dedication of the newly constructed Headquarters of Mayoubah and Sons Incorporated Petroleum Dealers on the Bushrod Island.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a member of the Board of Directors, Marcus Geeplay, said:” Petroleum business entity is hundred percent Liberian owned, and Mayoubah has three filling stations across the Country, with one-hundred-fifty Liberian employees.”
According to him, the work is in fulfillment of Government Pro-Poor Agenda to lift the citizenry out of poverty.
He said the Headquarters is a multipurpose building valued over one-point-five United States Dollar, and can compete with any international establishment.
The Mayoubah Board member thanked President Weah for the support and political will to see Liberian business succeed.
In remarks, the Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company (LPRC) Managing Director, Marie Coleman-Urey said Mayoubah was one of the petroleum dealers that ensured Liberia did not out of stock during the scarcity.
