MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) says voting will take place on Tuesday, December 15,2020, in some parts of Nimba, Grand Gedeh and Gbarpolu Counties.

According to the NEC Chairperson, Davidetta Browne-Lansanah, details for the voting process in parts of the three counties have been concluded.

Madam Browne-Lansanah said:” Previously, voting did not take place at two polling centers in Upper Nimba County, and one center each in Grand Gedeh and Gbarpolu Counties, due to some challenges.”

Meanwhile, the Commission has begun releasing provisional results from the 2020 December 8 Elections, focusing on the Mid-Term Senatorial Election.

The Thursday’s provisional results were from eight of the fifteen counties of Liberia.

The counties were Maryland, Bong, Grand Bassa, Montserrado, Nimba, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi and Gbarpolu.

However, four provisional results are expected to be released today and in the coming days.
