Liberia Land Authority to begin validation of Tribal Certificates

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Land Authority (LLA) is expected to begin the validation of tribal certificates as part of its plan for 2021.

The Chairman of the LLA, Atty. Adam Manoba said:” The validation will give a twenty-four month ultimatum to owners of tribal certificates, to carry the process into actual land deeds.”

Speaking with ELBC Monday, January 4, 2021, Atty. Monaba said the process will only affect individual holder of tribal certificate.

He also said that the LLA plans to construct County Offices in all fifteen Counties.

At the same time, the Head of LLA further disclosed that the entity will ensure it carries out property evaluation to boost Government’s revenue generation.
