MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has officially inducted the five Senators officially certificated by the National Elections Commission (NEC) as winners of the December 8, 2020, Mid-Term Senatorial Election.
The induction followed a report from the Committee on Rules, Order and Administration on Monday, January 11, 2021, during the formal opening of session.
The Committee, in its recommendation to Plenary, have the oath of office administered to the senators, based on the validity of their credentials submitted.
According to ELBC legislative Reporter, following the reading of the report, Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph proffered a motion that the report be received and endorsed.
The five Senators inducted included Abraham Darius Dillon of Montserrado County, Nyonblee Kangar Lawrence of Grand Bassa County, Prince Moye of Bong County, Emmanuel Nuquay of Margibi County and Jonathan Saybwe of River gee Counties.
