MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The First ever Dialysis Unit at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia, is expected to be opened to the public in February this year.
Dialysis is a treatment that filters and purifies the blood of patients suffering from kidney complications using a machine.
Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah told ELBC Friday, January 15, 2021, that Dialysis treatment will be conducted by specialized nurses and doctors.
Meanwhile, the Liberian Government has disclosed plans to construct a modern hospital soon in Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County.
Minister Jalllah said:” The project is expected to be financed by the Government of the United Arab Emirates, the UAE.”
