NEC reaffirms declarations of Edwin Snowe and Zoe Pennue as winners of December 8 -2020 Senatorial Elections for Bomi and Grand Gedeh Counties

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Board of Commissioners of the National Elections Commission (NEC) has reaffirmed its declarations of Edwin Snowe and Zoe Pennue as winners of the December 8, 2020 Mid–Term Senatorial Elections in Bomi and Grand Gedeh Counties, respectively.

According to a release, the Board of Commissioners reached the decision Tuesday, following legal arguments. The ruling is a result of the cases, CDC candidate, Alex Tyler, verses NEC and Edwin Snowe, as well as LRP candidate, Thomas Nimely, verses NEC and CDC candidate, Zoe Pennue.

Meanwhile, NEC Board of Commissioners has reserved rulings in the Lofa County December 8, 2020 Senatorial Election dispute between CPP Candidate, Brownie Samukai, on one hand, and Ahmed Kromah and James Mally, on the other, and another dispute between Keseley Gayflor of Lofa, on one hand, and Brownie Samukai and NEC, on the other.

The NEC Board of Commissioners took the decision Tuesday, following final arguments between lawyers representing James Mally and Ahmed Kromah.
