US Ambassador calls on Labor Minister

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Ambassador to Liberia, Michael McCarthy, says jobs and investment are the real solution to help Liberia from the effect of the civil war.

Ambassador McCarthy also stressed the importance of Liberia having systemic improvements in the Country’s labor market.

Speaking Wednesday, February 24, 2021, when he paid a courtesy call on Labor Minister, Charles Gibson, the US Envoy emphasized the need for investors and concessionaires to be treated on a win-win basis.

For his part, Labor Minister Cllr. Charles Gibson said:” Investment is crucial to the growth of the economy, and Government would do all it can to keep the Country investment friendly
