NEC hosts External Lessons Learned Conference from December 8, 2020 – Mid Term Senatorial Election conducts

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The 3rd in a series of External Lessons Learned Conference from the conduct of the December 8 2020 Mid – Term Senatorial Election, National Referendum and Representative By -Elections is ongoing in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

 The conferences are being held under the auspices of the National Elections Commission (NEC) with support from UNDP.

Speaking at the opening of the conference Thursday, March 18, 2021, NEC Deputy Executive Director for Programs, Nathan Garbie said the conferences are intended to take stock on the level of achievements and challenges from the elections.

Mr. Garbie said the conferences are also intended to get feedback from NEC Staff and Stakeholders on the conduct of the just ended elections.

In a related development, the Hearing Officer in the Sinoe County elections dispute has declared CDC Candidate Augustine Chea as winner of the 8 December 2020 Mid – Term Senatorial Elections in Sinoe County.
