Pres. Weah states regret over poor infrastructure in Tehr District in Bomi County

TEHR, DISTRICT, BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah has described the poor infrastructure outlook of Tehr District, Bomi County, as disappointing.

Terh District is where Julijuah, home of former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, is located.

Speaking at a Town Hall Meeting with citizens of the area Tuesday, March 23, 2021, President Weah frowned at the lack of roads, health and education facilities, and opportunities for young people.

According to ELBC Executive Mansion Reporter, President Weah said:” The District does not deserve to lack basic services and developments, after twelve years of leadership through its daughter, former President Sirleaf.

The Liberian Leader particularly assured the cousin of Madam Sirleaf, Paramount Chief Sekou Johnson, that the current Government will do things differently after he complained about the poor livelihood of the people.

Meanwhile, the people of Tehr District have lauded the Government through President Weah for initiating development projects in the area.
