United States-based Liberian humanitarian embarks on construction of multipurpose resource center in Klay District

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A Liberian humanitarian based in the United States has embarked on the construction of a multipurpose resource center in Klay District, Bomi County.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Telee Brown Giving Back Foundation Deacon Telee Brown, the project is estimated at US250.000.

Deacon Brown said the project is expected to be fully completed in September this year.

He said the facility will have a study room, conference hall, feeding center, and a short stay residential space for women and children who are faced with all forms of abuses in society.

Decon Brown also said his organization has awarded and continues to award scholarships to underprivileged students and has made several donations to needy religious institutions.

The CEO of Telee Brown Giving Back Foundation is expected to also create job opportunities for residents in the area and other parts of Liberia.
