GRAND BASSA COUNTY, Liberia-President George Weah says his Government is up to the task to drive and achieve Liberia’s development agenda.

President Weah said:” My Government has put into place a number of development programs, including road connectivity, infrastructure, education and health among others.”

His statement was in response to appeals made by citizens of Geegba number two District in Grand Bassa County for the rehabilitation of damage roads, improvement of facilities and the provision of an ambulance to the district among others.

The Liberian Leader, however, pledged that Government will take the necessary steps towards the rehabilitation of the roads, and improve existing health facilities in the area.

President Weah told the people of Geegba District-Two that Government has resolved to build vocational institutions in the fifteen Counties of the Country, to empower those without technical and vocational education.

He was speaking Thursday, April 22, 2021, to Citizens of the District, as part of his tour of Grand Bassa.
