Liberia, France sign Euros 8Million Urban Development Agreement

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-About Euros 8Million Urban Development agreement has been signed between the Government of Liberia and France.

It followed the arrival of the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drain on a state visit to Liberia.

Liberia’s Foreign Minister, Dee-Maxell Kemayah signed on behalf of Liberia while while Minister Le Drain of France signed on behalf of his country.

According to Minister Kemayah, the cities of Paynesville and Monrovia and Monrovia are expected to benefit from the agreement.

Minister Kemayah thanked the French Government for the support and reaffirmed President Weah’s commitment to further enhance the relationship between the two countries.

For his part, the French Foreign Minister conveyed President Emmanuel Macron’s heartfelt compliments to President Weah with a desire to take the Liberia-France relationship to another level.

Minister Jean-Yves Le Drain said his country looks forward to working with Liberia on the regional and global levels.
