MONROVIA, LIBERIA- A High power ECOWAS Cyber Security delegation has arrived in the country ahead of major engagements with the government through the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
The ECOWAS delegation will hold discussions and provide training on effective cyber-crime prevention in Liberia.
A release said the team is expected to coordinate the training of high level government officials and key actors in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector in Liberia.
The delegates from ECOWAS will also train a number of Government officials to fight cyber-crime and create a quick response team when there is an attack on the Country’s cyber space.
It can be recalled that the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper Kruah secured a space for a forensic cyber-crime laboratory at the Police Academy in Paynesville.
