MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Treatment units are said to be overwhelmed due to the outpouring of COVID-19 patients.
Speaking in an ELBC interview Monday, June 21, 2021, the Chief Administrator of JFK Medical Center, Dr. Jerry Brown said the number of critical patients currently in the treatments units require more medicval equipment to rescue them.
Dr. Brown made specific reference to oxygen, PPEs, and other essential medical supplies to enhance the fight against COVID-19.
He however, said the country might slip into another nationwide lockdown if cases continue to increase at an exponential rate.
Dr. Jerry Brown, a frontline worker himself, said health workers are doing their best but the situation has reached an alarming propotion.
