MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The 14- Military Hospital in Margibi County has been officially dedicated and opened for operations by President George Weah.

At the official opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 2, 2021, President Weah described the construction of the hospital as a success story and a vision that has become a reality.

President Weah said:” The hospital is one of his signature projects, and will serve as a legacy for his presidency.”

The Liberian Leader said that the motivation to construct the first military hospital in the Country grew out of constraint the Country faces in sending wounded soldiers and families to Senegal, while serving on peacekeeping mission in Mali.

President Weah said the hospital is now equipped, staffed and ready to serve AFL personnel, their families and other non-military personnel.

At the same time, President Weah has refuted claims that the Liberian Government has abandoned the Bali Island project.

There have been criticisms mostly from the opposition figures that the Bali Island project will be impossible to be undertaken by the Government.

But President Weah said the project is not yet of the hook.

The Liberian Leader said the same impossibility perception that surrounded the construction of the 14-Military Hospital has been transferred to the Bali Island project.

He assures Liberians that the Bali Island will become a success story, while urging them to develop a positive mindset.
