Labor Minister reaffirms Gov’t commitment to improve private sector‘s working conditions

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Labor Minister, Cllr. Charles Gibson has vowed that his ministry will do all it can to improve conditions of work in the Liberia private sector.

Cllr. Gibson said he will continue to engage the International Labor Organization (ILO) in ensuring that workers are protected at all time.

The Labor Minister said the ministry will also ensure that employers are not put at unnecessary risk with the investments in the country.

Minister Gibson has at the same time lauded the ILO for recognizing the milestone achievement of his administration at the ministry over the short period of time.

Cllr. Gibson spoke Saturday, September 18, 2021,  at a one day revision and validation of the Decent Work Act of 2015 held in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
