Major Koigee said:” People should not bring down their own country, because of hate for President George Weah and the government.”
He wants the Liberian Leader given the chance to continue his massive development programs through the Pro-Poor Agenda.
The Lord City Mayor was speaking over the weekend at a special dinner organized by the Monrovia City Cooperation (MCC), in commemoration of the President’s birthday.
He asked Liberians to put politics aside and focus on the common interest of the country.
Meanwhile, Mayor Koigee has lauded the United States Government for its continuous support to the Liberian Government.
He said American institution such as USAID has been impactful in crucial government interventions.
The City Mayor said the people of Liberia owe the US Government a debt of gratitude for committing American taxpayers’ money to Liberia’s development initiatives.
He maintained that President Weah remains committed to the traditional partnership between the United States and Liberian Governments.
According him, President Weah is happy that great things are happening under his leadership, because of the intervention of the US Government.
