MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) has constituted a fourteen-member Citizen Engagement Board to formulate a policy toward maintaining and promoting hygiene and sanitation, within the Liberian capital.
Speaking at a press conference e Thursday, October 21, 2021, Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Koijee named Madam Mary Broh, Ambassador Julie Endee and Francis Grant as Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary respectively.
Other members of the Committee include Thomas Doe-Nah, Aaron Kollie, Rev. Christian Toe, Imam Ali Krayee, Amos Williams and Eddie Jarwolo.
Mayor Koijee said: the team which comprises professionals from all sectors will commence work from November 1 to December 7, 2021.
He rallied the support of other Liberians in cleaning the city, ahead of Liberia’s bicentennial celebration next year.
