Liberian Senate ratifies 500M mineral development agreement for Gbarpolu County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives is reviewing a bill seeking to amend several provisions of the Alien and Nationality Law volume 2.

According to our reporter, plenary’s action on Tuesday followed a communication from Montserrado County District 8 Representative, Acarous Gray.

Representative Gray wants Part 3, Chapters 20, 21 and 22 of the law amended. He said the law is not consistent with Articles 11 B and C and other provisions of the Liberian Constitution relating to equal protection of fundamental rights and citizenship.

Meanwhile, the instrument was forwarded to the House’ Committee on Judiciary to report within one week.
