Visiting Medical Team ends Medical Management Conference….

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- week-long National Acute Medical Management Conference organized by the visiting medical Team from the Korle-bu Neuroscience Foundation (KBNF), in partnership with the Ministry of health and the John F. Kennedy Hospital, has successfully ended in Monrovia.

The conference brought together several participants, including Physicians, Nurses, First Responders and some medical students from the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts (TNIMA).

Topics covered at the program include acute medical management, advanced cardiovascular life support, oxygen therapy and advanced trauma life support.

A release issued Friday, November 12, 2021, described the topics covered as very essential to managing patients in emergency medical situations.

The visiting medical team from the KBNF is still in Liberia at the Nation’s Premier referral hospital, conducting life-saving surgical procedures.

The President of the Korleb-bu Neuroscience Foundation, Dr. Majorie Ratel, said:” The goal of the visiting medical Team is to treat over hundred Liberians who are affected by brain and spine related medical conditions.”
