MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberians across four counties are going to the polls this Tuesday, November 16, 2021, to vote in the Representatives By-Election.
Citizens in Districts One in Bomi, Grand Gedeh and Nimba Counties, as well as District Two in Bong County, are going to the polls to fill vacancies created by the 2020 Senatorial Election.
The National Elections Commission’s (NEC) Upper Bong County Magistrate, Daniel Newland, told ELB Correspondent that deployment of materials and personnel began Sunday, November 15, 2021.
Similar deployments are also taking place across the other counties, with the NEC local officials appealing for calm and orderliness during the process.
Meanwhile, the NEC Bong County Magistrate, Daniel Newland, has warned that there will be no photographing of marked ballot papers by voters, noting that security has been deployed to enforce all the regulations.
