MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has sent a condolence message to the Government and People of Ghana, following the death of one of Africa’s greatest sons, Captain Kojo Tsikata.
Captain Tsikata served as Head of the National Security and Foreign Affairs and the Provisional National Defense Council of Ghana.
He also served as a Special Envoy of the Chairman of ECOWAS, during the Liberia Civil Crisis.
In a message to his Ghanaian Counterpart, Nana Akufo-Addo, President Weah indicated that Captain Tsikata will be remembered for the role he played in bringing peace to Liberia and the West African Region.
A Foreign Ministry release issued Tuesday, November 23, 2021, quoted the Liberian Leader as expressing the hope that President Akufo-Addo and the people of Ghana will find strength, courage and comfort during this period of national mourning.
