NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The 27th Edition of the National County Sports Meet went into full swing at the weekend with some of the key favorites failing to impress.

Despite controlling much of the possession, Nimba County wasted many begging chances at the pleasure of Rivercess County.
Had Nimba finished properly on target, the host should have led their visitors by a wider goal margin before half time, but their poor form in front of the goal kept Rivercess alive into a match their were second best in.
After several near misses by the Nimba County attack, an equalizer came midway in the second half to hand the Group Host just a point in a match they dominated for over 70 minutes.
If the four Times County meet winners are to add a fifth to the trophy cabinet, than they will have to work harder on becoming more clinical in front of goal.
The draw on Sunday, December 12,2021, means Nimba County will have to work harder to pass five times winners, Grand Kru County, and one time carrier, Bong County, who are currently at the top of the table to get to the quarterfinal.
