MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has submitted to the National Legislature, three bills for ratification and enactment.
The bills are Investment Incentive Agreement between Liberia and Jeety Rubber LLC, Investment Incentive Agreement between Liberia and Mano Manufacturing Company and the Revenue Sharing Law of 2021.
According to ELBC Reporter, under the Jeety agreement, the company shall construct, develop and operate in Margibi County, a natural rubber processing factory, producing tires and other rubber products.
The Mano Manufacturing Company, expected to operate in Grand Cape Mount County, will produce detergent and domestic products.
However, the Revenue Sharing Law of 2021 is designed with the main objective to promote domestic resource mobilization through fiscal decentralization.
Meanwhile, the instrument has been forwarded to the Committee on Investment, Judiciary, Agriculture, including Ways and Means, to report before the body’s closure on December 18, 2021.
