Eminent sons of Lofa County launched major road project in Foya District

FOYA DISTRICT, LOFA COUNTY,LIBERIA-A major road project has been launched in Foya, Lofa County, with citizens from the district and other eminent sons contributing over ninety-thousand United States Dollars and over five-hundred-thousand Liberian Dollars.

The launch was carried out in Foya District and spearheaded by Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Koijee and Montserrado County District Five Representative Thomas Fallah.

The two eminent sons of the District spent the New Year with the people of the District.

Representative Fallah and Mayor Koijee committed fifty-thousand, former Representative Dave Koomey provided twenty-five-thousand, while Foreign Minister Dee Maxwell Kemayah contributed fifteen-thousand US Dollars.

The Foya Youth for Development presented-two-hundred-fifty-thousand Liberian Dollars, with call made to all sons and daughters of Lofa County to support the project.

According to Representative Thomas Fallah, as citizens of Lofa County, they want to play key road in the process of road construction in Lofa County, as doing so will ease many of the challenges the people of the County are faced with.
