MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has returned home, after successfully participating in activities marking the second term inauguration of Gambian President Adama Barrow.
President Weah left Liberia early Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022, to grace the colorful ceremonies in the Gambia capital, Banjul.
While in the Gambia, the Liberian Leader reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to the sisterly relationship with the Gambia.
President Weah said:” Liberia will ensure the tenants of democracy and sovereignty that bond the two countries together are respected and cherished by citizens of both countries.”
The Liberian Leader returned home late Wednesday evening via the Roberts International Airport in Lower Margibi County.
