MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Authorities of the Baptist run Risk Institute have apologized to the Ministry of Education for violating the Ministry’s regulation on graduation.
Risk Institute is one of the few schools that has held graduation programs without the West Africa Senior School Certificate Exams (WASSCE) results, against the mandate of the Ministry.
The Principal of the school, Rev. Dr. Enoch Nyankoon, said:” The institution takes responsibility and pledged to abide by every policy and regulation of the Ministry of Education.”
Dr. Nyankoon assured that such violation will never be repeated by the school, and disclosed that the school has already begun publishing and airing the apology in both print and electronic media, as instruct ted by the ministry.
He told a news conference on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, that the institution‘s apology was contained in an official letter written to the Minister of Education.
Dr. Nyankoon, however, lauded the Ministry of Education for amicably resolving the matter in the interest of the students.
