Senator Wesseh criticizes Amb. Boakai for pulling out of the Collaborating Political Parties

by Maximilian K. Kasseh jr

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Rivergee County Senator Company Wesseh has criticized the pull out of Unity Party (UP) from the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP).

Senator Wesseh said:” The move announced by the UP Political Leader, Joseph Boakai, was premature and not in the interest of the citizens.”

The UP stalwart added that it was wrong for Mr. Boakai to pull out of the CPP, because of ANC’s insistence to lead the ticket in 2023.

Senator Wesseh stressed that anyone wishing to lead the Country must learn to accept others’ views, instead of building dictatorship, something he said the party has fought against.

He noted that Ambassador Boakai’s plan to establish another collaboration just to be crowned as the head is not healthy for the Country’s emerging democracy.

The opposition community has been rocked by in-house fighting over the last three tears with claims and counter claims of framework document tempering.

Senator Wesseh, no matter how many CPPs JNB forms, will never become President of Liberia. Liberia needs a leader that will unite her people and not a ruler (Bokassa Crowns Bokassa) that will provide camouflaged shelters for criminals.
