MOPNROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of State for Residential Affairs is assuring the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA) that they will be captured in the next fiscal budget for the first time.
Minister Nathaniel McGill said:” The inclusion of ULAA in the budget is a step towards cementing the partnership between the Union and the Liberian Government.”
According to him, for too long the umbrella Union of all Liberian Associations in the United States has not felt the impact and support of their Government back home.
He made the commitment when he officially launched the Development Partnership Fund of the Association in Pennsylvania, the United States of America over the weekend.
Minister McGill urged the Leadership of ULAA to always check mate the Government and recommend, where necessary, for the collective good of the Country.
He reiterated that Liberia belongs to all citizens, regardless of political and social status, which is why President is extending Olive branch to fierce critics of Government.
On the issue of unexplained or mysterious deaths raised by the Union’s President, the Minister stated that the Liberian Government was equally concerned about bringing perpetrators to book.
