The Liberian Leader was speaking to reporters on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, moments after signing the Book of Condolences for the fallen Statesman, at the Centennial Memorial Pavilion in Monrovia.
He said that upon his election, Dr. Amos Sawyer accepted his request to represent Liberia at ECOWAS, and further provide recommendations on pertinent Governance issues.
The Liberia Chief Executive consoled the wife of the late Dr. Sawyer and all Liberians, and asked for a sober reflection on the life of the former Interim President, who sacrificed for peace, good governance and the rule of law.
