MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has suspended Atty. Edwin Dennis, Director General of the National Bureau of Concession.
President Weah also rendered as null and void the dismissal of the Bureau’s Director General, Nathaniel Bracewell, by Atty. Dennis.
An Executive Mansion release issued recently said the Liberian Leader described the action by NBC Boss to terminate the services of Mr. Bracewell as arbitrary, and without regards of the Office of the President.
The release said President Weah has asked Atty. Dennis to immediately report to the Office of the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, for further investigation.
Meanwhile, President George Weah has warned all public officials to immediately refrain from exercising powers, functions and duties assigned to the President, and to act within the confines of their authorities.
According to the release, the Deputy Director General for Administration will now act as Director General of the National Bureau of Concession, while Atty. Edwin Dennis serves his suspension.
