MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has affirmed its unwavering quest of pushing for a corruption-free Liberian society.
LACC Executive Chairperson Cllr. Edwin Kla Martin said the Commission has instituted several reform measures to ensure such feat is achieved.
He said:” The Commission is upbeat and ready to ensure transparency and proper accountability of state resources.”
Meanwhile, Cllr. Martin wants a specialized court established to fully handle corruption related cases, adding that this will ensure people linked to corruption are speedily investigated and prosecuted.”
The LACC Boss noted that currently the Anti-graft body has reviewed and investigated forty-eight different corruption related cases.
