The West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) gives Provisional Results

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of the examination for 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th Graders.

Releasing the results on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, WAEC-Liberia Head Dale Gbotoe said results released are not full results, but statistics shows Rivercess County scoring the highest marks in 3rd, 6th, and 9th grades exams.

According to Mr. Gbotoe, his institution is unable to release names of performing students and schools in the exams, due to ongoing investigation into examination malpractices.

The provisional results released by WAEC-Liberia shows eighty-seven percent of female students performed well in the Ninth Grade exams.

The WAEC Boss also disclosed that six-hundred-forty-nine senior students failed all subjects of the West Africa Senior High Certificate Exams (WASSCE).

Meanwhile, WAEC has disclosed that all certificates will be available in three months after announcing the results.
