Activities marking 19th Anniversary of Accra Comprehensive Peace Agreement outlined

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Director of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace, Juli Endee, has outlined activities marking the 19th Anniversary of the Accra Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

Ambassador Juli Endee said:” A women conference on the UN Resolution Thirteen-Twenty-Five will take place on Wednesday, August 17 before the main Kukatornor Peace Festival takes place on Thursday, August 18, 2022.”

Ambassador Endee said:” The women conference will discuss ways to end Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and other issues affecting women and girls in Liberia.”

International guests expected to attend the events are from the Kingdom of Morocco, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Cote d’Voire, Ghana and Nigeria.

Liberia’s Feminist-In-Chief, President George Weah, is expected to deliver a special speech at the main event.

Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor, Gender Minister Williametta Saydee-Tarr and Cllr.Yvette Chesson are among several women leaders expected to make remarks at the gathering.
