MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is expected to begin a tour of Montserrado County on Monday, in continuation of his Nationwide Tour which started in February last year.
According to an Executive Mansion released issued over the weekend, President Weah’s international engagements and other domestic obligations hindered his planned tour of the County.
It said the scheduled Monday, August 15, 2022 tour should have followed immediately after Lofa County.
The Liberian Leader will begin with visits to Electoral Districts 15, 16 and 17, during which he will hold town hall meetings, and on Tuesday, August 16, he will visit Districts 9, 6 and 7 for meetings in the Airfield Community, Wroto Town, Matadi, Capital Bye-Pass and West Point.
According to the release, the tour will afford the President the opportunity to interact with citizens, and discuss issues confronting their communities.
It said President Weah is also expected to use the time to inform Liberians about developments taking place in the Country.
