MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) has disclosed plans to shortly convene a scientific conference in Monrovia.
The conference is named “Emmett Dennis National Scientific Conference”, and it is expected to bring together scientists from Liberia and other parts of the world.
NPHIL and the Africa Network on Epidemiology will convene the event at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex, in Congo Town, from August 29 to the 31st.
NPHIL Health System Strengthening and Policy Advisor, Dr. Paul Kennedy, said:” The conference is intended to showcase the activities of Liberian scientists.”
Dr. Kennedy added that the conference will also highlight new discoveries by the scientists.
He said scientists from different backgrounds will present scientific concepts that will be discussed, during a panel deliberation in order to figure out solutions.
