MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has submitted two loan arrangements to the House of Representatives for ratification.
The first is an arrangement between Liberia and the African Development Fund, Mano River Union Road Development and Transport Facilitation Program Phase-Two.
The other is a loan agreement on the Mano River Union Road Development and Transport Facilitation Program Phase-Three.
In a communication to the body on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, President Weah said: “These agreements were signed between and amongst the parties on April 14, 2022, with the objective of strengthening sub-regional integration and trade in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.”
Meanwhile, the instruments have been forwarded to the Committees on Ways and Means, Public Works, Transport and Judiciary, to report within a period of one week.
