LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah has expressed sadness over the news of the passing of Chief Momo Taylor, the influential Paramount Chief of Lofa County.
Chief Taylor, a descendent of Chief Tamba Taylor, was a revered elder and Statesman, whose death has been received with much grief in his home town of Foya and across the County.
According to an Executive Mansion release issued recently, the Liberian Leader described the fallen Chief as a strong pillar of Liberian tradition and heritage.
President Weah said:” Chief Taylor was instrumental in the maintenance of peace and harmony among various ethnic groups and religions in Lofa County.”
The Liberian Chief Executive called on the bereaved family, as well as sons and daughters of Lofa County, to take solace in the Lord.
