MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has called on the Liberian Community in the Kingdom of Morocco to be humble, responsible and law-abiding as “good ambassadors of Liberia.”
President Weah said:” The future is bright for diaspora Liberians, and whatever goal set is attainable, once it is in compliance with the rule of law and peaceful.”
According to an Executive Mansion release issued over the weekend, the Liberian Leader made the assertions recently during an interaction with the Liberian community, comprising students, residents and partisans in Tangier.
He admonished Liberians to remember that they represent the name and image of Liberia, and that whatever they do would reflect on the Country.
During the forum, Liberians named a number of challenges, including difficulty in renewing their passports and delays in getting per diems.
President Weah promised to work with the relevant institutions of Government to remedy the challenges, including timely passport renewal and per diem payment to students.
