MONROV IA, LIBERIA-Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor is suggesting an extension of the December 2 end date of the National housing and population census.
Vice President Taylor believes a small extension will afford Enumerators ample time to collect data.
Madam Taylor is also urging the LISGIS and its partners to ensure that all enumerators are paid in order to avoid further delay to the census exercise.
The Vice President was speaking Monday, November 21, 2022, during a routine visit at the offices the LISGIS.
Madam Taylor presided over a stakeholder meeting to acquaint herself with progress and challenges confronting the ongoing National Population and Housing Census.
She recommended that the publicity team work with various media outlets, with Liberia Broadcasting System taking the lead in spreading positive messages about the census, as well as give frequent updates to the public about progress being made
