MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs designate has assured the Liberian Senate of fostering harmonious relationship between the Executive and the Legislature.
Speaking on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, during his confirmation hearing, the Minister designate, Wesseh Blamo, said:” If the expectations of Liberians must be met, there needs to be a cordial working relationship between the two branches of Government.”
Mr. Wesseh added that the Liberian Constitution calls for coordination between the three branches of Government, and fulfilling such provision is a must.
The Minister designate maintained that he will focus on re-strengthening the already existing relationship to promote growth and development.
The former Grand Kru County Representative made the statement when he appeared before the Senate’s Committee on Executive on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
