MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), in partnership with the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), has identified with hundreds of children in Paynesville City and its environs.
The LBS Management and LRA Foundation on Monday, December 25, 2022, held a day-long Christmas Party on the compound of LBS and presented gifts to the children, including food and non-food items.
The annual event is part of series of year-end activities organized by the System to climax the year.
At the same time, dozens of children have expressed excitement and appreciation to the LBS and LRA Foundation for the initiative.
They told ELBC at the event that they are grateful to the Management of LBS and LRA Foundation for hosting them and sharing gifts during the Christmas.
Meanwhile, LBS Director General, Estelle Liberty-Kemoh, said:” The just ended children’s Christmas Party is LBS Management’s way of putting smiles on the faces of children amid the festive season.”
According to her, Christmas is the time of sharing love with humanity, and it also requires bringing children together.
Also speaking, LRA Commissioner General, Thomas Doe Nah, said:” The partnership between LBS and LRA is an appreciation of the System’s role in propagating LRA’s policies and programs.”
Commissioner Doe Nah thanked the LBS Management for the collaboration, adding that such partnership will go a long way.
The Christmas Party marks the climax of series of year-end activities organized by the Liberia Broadcasting System.
