Gov. of Liberia signs major agreement with the United Arab Emirates

GBARPOLU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has signed a major economic agreement with the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Foreign Minister Dee- Maxwell Kemayah signed on behalf of Liberia, while UAE Minister of State, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nayan, signed for his Country.

The agreement was signed moments after the commissioning of the Emirates Hospital in Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

It was also witnessed by President George Weah and the Executive Director of the UAE Military Health Services, Dr. Aysha Sultan Aldhaheri.

The latest agreement seeks to develop economic and technical cooperation between both countries based on equality and mutual benefits.
