MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The state-run University of Liberia (UL) and the National Commission on Higher Education have concluded curriculum reform exercise for the possible usage of a standardized curriculum by universities across Liberia.
UL President, Dr. Julius Nelson, said:” The proposed harmonized National Curriculum for universities is crucial to building a coordinated tertiary education in the Country.”
Dr. Nelson made the disclosure on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at a MICAT Regular Press Briefing in Monrovia.
Dr. Nelson also revealed that the UL has introduced degrees in Computer Information Technology, Public Health, Environmental Science and Architectural.
Meanwhile, the University of Liberia is expected to launch Fishery, Science and Aqua-Culture Department on January 25, this year.
