MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the National Investment Commission (NIC) says the Commission is implementing a fifteen-million United States Dollar Agro Processing Zone project in Grand Bassa County.
Mr. Moleweleh Gray said:” Buchanan is being considered as Special Economic Zone, where nearly five-hundred acres of land have been set aside for industrial agro processing zone.”
Mr. Gray said:” The focus of the project is to add value to Liberia produced primary products on the markets.”
He disclosed that the NIC is to build agriculture transformation where small farm holders will sell their products.
Speaking on ELBC Super Morning Show on Monday, January 16, 2023, the NIC Boss said the Commission has made fourteen investment incentive requests to provide thousands of Liberians job opportunities.
