Federation of Liberian Youth wants $5 Million Dollars allotment in Nat’l Budget…

MONRO VIA, LIBERIA-The Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) has proposed a five-million United States Dollar allotment in the National Budget, to support youth programs in Liberia.

FLY said:” The money would support Advanced Youth Development Programs, like paying public school volunteer teachers and building innovation and creativity centers across the Country.”

The Head of the Secretariat, Duku Jallah, told ELBC Super Morning Show on Monday, January 23, 2023, that the focus of such allotment is to invest in youth entrepreneurship and mental health.

Mr. Jallah, on behalf of FLY, recommended that the proposed program be implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

According to him, the leadership of FLY is holding talks with lawmakers and officials of the Executive to consider the proposal.
